SOBRE
MESTRE XUXO é um artista, mestre de capoeira, artista do movimento corporal e músico afro brasileiro que dedicou sua vida a inspirar pessoas por meio do poder transformador do movimento. Com mais de 140 países visitados, ele passou décadas ensinando, aprendendo e se conectando com comunidades ao redor do mundo, ajudando as pessoas a redescobrirem seu propósito de vida através da cultura afro brasileira.
CAPOEIRA
A jornada do Mestre Xuxo começou aos 2 anos de idade, treinando sob a orientação de seu pai, Mestre Sampaio , no Brasil. Seus primeiros anos foram repletos de longas e intensas horas de prática, onde disciplina e resiliência se tornaram naturais. Através da Capoeira, ele não apenas desenvolveu sua base no movimento, mas também aprendeu os valores de respeito, perseverança e conexão . A capoeira permanece no cerne de seu trabalho, uma forma de arte cultural que combina luta, dança, ritmo e expressão.
MOVIMENTO
Da Capoeira, Mestre Xuxo expandiu-se para o Break Dance, a Afro Dance e a Dança Contemporânea . Essas experiências aprofundaram sua compreensão de como diversas práticas de movimento podem atender às necessidades humanas de alegria, equilíbrio e conexão. Sua filosofia é que o movimento nos reconecta com a liberdade da infância — nos lembrando das brincadeiras, da ludicidade e da abertura que outrora compartilhávamos no parquinho.
Essa visão o levou a criar o Movement Connection , um projeto global que reúne artistas e comunidades para unir diferentes modalidades de movimento em uma forma única de expressão. Para o Mestre Xuxo, a combinação de artes abre novas dimensões, amplia perspectivas e cria um "rio de conhecimento" que flui entre pessoas e culturas.
MÚSICA
Como artista musical, Xuxo Na Voz traz sua cultura , afro brasileira, hip hop e colaborações com outros artistas. Sua voz não é apenas uma ferramenta para a arte, mas também uma forma de amplificar o som daqueles que não têm uma plataforma para serem ouvidos. Por meio de sua música, ele busca cruzar fronteiras, quebrar barreiras e dar ritmo às histórias de resiliência e esperança do mundo todo.

Independentemente da modalidade, o movimento e a música podem te ajudar a ver a vida de forma diferente. Mas quando você combina as artes, você abre novas dimensões e descobre novos mundos. Capoeira School SSC is honored to invite students, practitioners, and members of the global capoeira community to celebrate 20 years of history, culture, and tradition with us in Brazil.
São Paulo – 20th Anniversary Celebration
July 23rd to July 26th, 2027

The celebration will begin in São Paulo, with four days dedicated to capoeira and community. The program will include:
• Capoeira workshops
• Music and cultural activities
• Traditional rodas
• Capoeira graduations
This anniversary event represents an important milestone for Capoeira School SSC, honoring our roots while strengthening connections within our international community.

Cultural & Educational Trip Through Brazil 🇧🇷
July 26th to August 7th, 2027
Immediately following the São Paulo event, participants are invited to join an immersive cultural and touristic journey through Brazil. This experience combines learning, cultural exchange, and leisure, offering a deeper understanding of Brazilian lifestyle and Afro-Brazilian traditions.
The itinerary includes:
• Paraty and Trindade
• Islands in Paraty
• Waterfalls and natural reserves
• Rio de Janeiro, including Copacabana
• Salvador da Bahia
During the Bahia portion of the trip, participants will take part in:
• Percussion classes
• Capoeira workshops
• Afro-Brazilian dance classes
• Orixás show performances

Trip Overview – Brazil Cultural & Capoeira Experience

This journey has been carefully designed to combine capoeira training, cultural immersion, and travel through Brazil’s most iconic destinations, following the 20th Anniversary celebration of Capoeira School SSC.

Participants will arrive in Brazil through São Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport (GRU).
Airport reception and local support will be available.

São Paulo – Capoeira School SSC 20th Anniversary
• Friday, July 23rd
Official opening of the event with capoeira workshops.
• Saturday, July 24th
Workshops and ceremonial activities, celebrating 20 years of Capoeira School SSC.
• Sunday, July 25th
Workshops followed by a more relaxed day to connect, rest, and enjoy the community atmosphere.

Paraty & Trindade – Nature, History & Beaches
Monday, July 26th to Friday, July 30th
On Monday, July 26th, we will travel by private transportation from São Paulo to Paraty.
During this period, participants will:
• Explore Paraty’s historic city center
• Visit beaches and islands
• Enjoy boat trips
• Visit waterfalls and natural areas
• Experience the relaxed coastal lifestyle of Paraty and Trindade
All activities will be organized as part of the group experience.

Rio de Janeiro – Culture & Landmarks
July 30th to August 2nd
After Paraty, we will continue by private transportation to Rio de Janeiro, staying at a hotel near Copacabana Beach.
In Rio de Janeiro, participants will have the opportunity to visit:
• Cristo Redentor
• Lapa
• Escadaria Selarón
• Other cultural and historical landmarks
These visits can be organized and coordinated by our team.
We will remain in Rio de Janeiro until August 2nd.

Salvador da Bahia – Afro-Brazilian Culture & Capoeira
Monday, August 2nd to Saturday, August 7th
On Monday, August 2nd, the group will fly to Salvador da Bahia.
In Salvador, participants will experience:
• Afro-Brazilian dance classes
• Percussion classes
• Capoeira workshops
• Cultural immersion guided by Professor Bahia
• Participation in the first official Capoeira School SSC event in Salvador da Bahia
Salvador da Bahia is one of the most important cultural centers in Brazil, known for its powerful history of Afro-Brazilian resistance and expression, deeply connected to capoeira, samba, percussion, and Candomblé.

The trip concludes with our official SSC capoeira event in Salvador da Bahia, including:

July 31st – Aug 2nd Rio de Janeiro Cultural visits (Cristo Redentor, Lapa, Escadaria Selarón, and other landmarks). Free time and group activities.
August 3rd (Mon) Rio de Janeiro → Salvador da Bahia Flight to Salvador da Bahia. Arrival and cultural orientation.
August 3rd –6th Salvador da Bahia Capoeira workshops, percussion classes, Afro-Brazilian dance classes, cultural immersion, and activities led by Professor Bahia.
August 7th (Sat) Salvador da Bahia Official Capoeira School SSC event: workshops, rodas, and ceremonial activities. End of official program.
After Aug 7 — Departure home or optional extended stay in Brazil.
